Met Gala 2015

CHINA, Through the Looking Glass

The Met Gala is my all time favourite red carpet, the most elegant at least. When I first herd about the theme it made me doubt a bit. I couldn´t figure out how there would be more than 100 gowns with this inspiration that look different. I must have understimated designers because every single outfit is unique and to my surprise, many are not so typical but still manage to have some Chinease details. As usual there are some atention grabbing outfits that are quite obvious, cof, Rihanna, cof. But in general they were elegant and CHINESE!

Even though I did miss Taylor Swift, Victoria Beckham and Gisele Bundchen, not to mention Oscar dela Renta designing, I think that the main essence of the event was in at least 90% of the dresses. Now it´s your time to decide who was your best dressed!

  1. I went to this place with local friends and we had a blast at Venues in San Francisco. The long happy hour definitely ensures a full upstairs, but I'd recommend the quieter downstairs to enjoy your stuffed burger and fries!
