NYFW: Spring 2015
I can´t imagine how crowded and busy the big apple is during fashion week, but I do know that it´s really glamorous and the base for the whole season. I live under the equator line so the seasons are the other way round, which means it´s almost spring time here and in the end this spring collections suit our upcoming season. Next I made a selection of the best I could spot from the 4th to the 11th of September, from street style to runway looks. Hope you like it and tell me what do you think. xxx
Note: this is just a selection, it´s not the complete list of the shows, if you want to see more head to Style.com .

Fashion Shows
Nicholas K
The pressure of being the first ones didnt´t affect the designer whose collection, inspired by an African explorer adapted to their idea of and urban warrior. (date: 4/9)
BCBG Max Azria
Bohemian, carefree and sun bleached colours represented the show. (4/9)
Tadashi Shoji
An oriental collection that despite all the prejudices gets us all. I could wear it without any complain. (4/9)
Kaelen
One of the few collections you look at and say: "I could wear this tomorrow" (4/9)
Desigual
I´m a huge fan of Desigual! All the outfits scream: "summer time" in everyway possible. (4/9)
Marissa Webb
Easy breezy looks perfect for a summer in the city! Plus a lot of trench's... (4/9)
Coach
Classic is already the past. (4/9)
Zimmermann
Delicate pieces were exposed there´s no doubt about it, the question is ¿can I go to the beach in that swimsuit? (5/9)
Rebecca Minkoff
Down to earth and ready to wear. (ps: the last 5 runway looks had some 3D effect) (5/9)
Monique Lhuillier
Impossible not fall in love with this collection, from flower application to pastel colours, everything looked like a mid spring garden.
Kate Spade New York
Ladylike as usual, nothing can beat it. (5/9)
Tibi
Of course the masculine factor was there but this time very well hidden.(6/9)
Cristian Siriano
Transparencies, white and more transparencies? At least you won´t suffer from the summer heat. (6/9)
Hervé Léger
Congratulations to the Azrias´for keeping the traditional bandage dresses and adding some embroidery to modernise it. (6/9)
Alexander Wang
You like it or not, he´s the only one who can present a structured and sporty collection during NYFW. (6/9)
Victoria Beckham
It´s no new that I´m a huge fan of her work and this was no exception. Stripes and Flowers not to mention that she incursioned in the shoe industry for the first time. (7/9)
DKNY
Another sporty collection, more casual, and even running shoes. (7/9)
Diane Von Furstenberg
Great collection that, for times reminds me of a young Brigitte Bardot, and summoned well known models such as Candice Swanepoel, the new runway star Kendall Jenner and the experience Naomi Campbell. (7/9)
Custo Barcelona
As usual the Spanish inspiration show. (7/9)
Versus Versace
A collection that brought back the Donatella from the 90´s where gold was the key to success. (7/9)
Carolina Herrera
The designer of the 3 colours opted for textures and some big flower prints. Good idea to stick to her routes. (8/9)
Tommy Hilfigher
Inspiration from the 60´s and 70´s, rock stars and hippies, stars and more stars...even in tattoos!
(P.S. look at that runway! So cool!!!) (8/9)
3.1 Phillip Lim
This futuristic vibes that characterise the brand is still present even in a summer collection and still ace it. (8/9)
Donna Karan
Abstract figures for the working woman...specially for new yorkers. (8/9)
Alice + Olivia
Somebody tell me that this collection is not real. It looks like a spring landscape stamped on 70´s and and elegant 50´s woman. (8/9)
Zac Posen
I´m not a huge fan of Zac Posen plainness but when I saw this collection I fell some kind of confidence and I guess that´s what he tried to show, powerful women who don´t need to wear something elaborated. (8/9)
Ralph Lauren
Even if your collection resembles an early 2000´s teen movie character full of accessories an colours you can´t beat the power of show. Mr Ralph Lauren decided to bring technology to the Central Park lake by creating an holographic 4d... It´s absolutely worth watching (at least watch the first and last 2 minutes, you wont regret it) you can watch it here. (9/9)
Vera Wang
Black is the new black, at least for Vera. (9/9)
Rodarte
OH! This boots are amazing! Even if the dress looks torn you´ll have cool boots. (9/9)
Badgley Mischka
This dresses are perfection! The toughest thing I´ve ever done was to pick only 2.... (9/9)
Marc by Marc Jacobs
For sure you´ll be ready for rainy days... and have the cutest wellies ever! (9/9)
Jenny Packham
There´s got to be a reason why Princess Kate loves her. (9/9)
Oscar de la Renta
Omg! Never have I ever seen such a beautiful collection that sums up feminism, elegance and creativity inspired by the flower decorated outdors. What´s more, as whole it still has sense, if you see one of the gingham suits it had some kind of visual sense with a flower print dress. (Sorry for the overdose of pictures, but I LOVE it) (9/9)
Michael Kors
The only thing I need to say is that this is ready to wear. (10/9)
Jeremy Scott
I think that the imagination inside this mans head is uncountable, just look at those shoes! Not to mention he also has us ready for Halloween! P.S it´s a Miley Cyrus collab. (10/9)
Boss
When you are the boss, this happens... (10/9)
Betsey Jhonson
This could simple be the party version of the Jeremy Scott show, it literally looked like people going to a costume party.
Rachel Zoe
some boho, business woman and a lot of black! Am I describing somebody?
Ralph Lauren
Another show but for a more mature audience with great jewellery! (11/9)
Calvin Klein
Three basic colours, blue, read and white, but what make it interesting are the classic shapes. Good for a formal summer day.(11/9)
Marc Jacobs
Marc clearly wants to prevent us from the summer rain. (11/9)
